Where to find your local hosts file Mac/PC

For Mac osx Lion:
Open terminal and type in the following command line

$ sudo nano /etc/hosts

For PC users edit file:

Windows7
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

WindowsXP
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
